As usual the pundits will be throwing in their two cents as to who will be winning the AFC East or not. Here's some buzz that's been circulating around the league on how the AFC East Division is shaping up this particular season. Again the teams are not listed in any order of importance or according to the NFL odds just some flavor for you;
New England Patriots- The Patriots well what can you say about them, except once again Tom Brady is back and ready to make yet another run at the Superbowl. Having Brady one the team is at times a sure fire winner as the man brings many years of leadership and toughness to the field. With the retirement of Randy Moss this year the Patriots needed to find Brady some firepower. So exit Moss, enter Chad Ochocinco. Cut in the same mold as Moss, physical and very aggressive Brady has yet another weapon to throw to. Wes Welker will also be back and if he can stay healthy he can cover the inside passing while Chad handles the long ball. Couple this with good young talent at the Tight end position and the Patriots offensively are a force to be reckoned with. On the defensive end the biggest addition comes in the guise of big Albert Haynesworth, a man that many feel to be a liability, can still provide a presence on the Patriot defense along with Vince Wilfork.
The Patriots vs Jets will happen in NFL Week 5 and NFL Week 10. The Patriots vs Bills will happen in NFL Week 3 and NFL Week 17. The Patriots vs Dolphins will happen in NFL Week 1 and NFL Week 16.
Miami Dolphins - The Dolphins did not seem like much, they stuck with Tony Sparano. There were also no major moves at quarterback made with Chad Henne. Receiving wise Brandon Marshall will be in his second year flanked by Hartline and Devon Bess two good young wide receivers. But the biggest move done this offseason is the overhaul of the backfield. The Miami Dolphins added Reggie Bush in order to give the running game some more punch. Along with Kansas State Rookie Daniel Thomas the Dolphins are going with a new look in the backfield. Defense an old familiar friend in Jason Taylor returns to give the Dolphins another pass rush option along with Karlos Dansby , Cameron Wake and Kevin Burnett.
New York Jets - The Jets are ready to make another run. After coming so close last year Mark Sanchez returns in another attempt to lead the Jets to the Superbowl. To help Sanchez on his run they now have the return of Plaxico Burris, who while has been out of the league for sometimes is an imposing individual. Not to mention SanAntonio Holmes and Derrick Mason. This is a very experienced core of wide receivers for the Jets which should help the young Sanchez find experienced targets. The Jets defense also remains rather solid and once again this mixture of young players and veteran leadership are ready once more to take the field. The Jets have a good mixture indeed of experience and young talent.
The Jets vs Bills will happen in NFL Week 9 and NFL Week 12. The Jets vs Dolphins will happen in NFL Week and NFL Week 17.
Buffalo Bills - The Bills are hoping 2011 will bring them better success, This team is ready to make a run and win the AFC East With young quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tyler Thigpen, the Bills have a duo of young quarterbacks who have started. Add the dynamic CJ Spiller along with a group of young starters and the Bills are a team that may surprise many.
The Dolphins vs Bills will happen in NFL Week 11 and NFL Week 15.
